3D Objects
UmakeVR supports a wide variety of 3D object files, including common types like OBJ, GLTF, or STL. While many additional file types are supported, 3D objects vary greatly in their size, complexity, and quality, so we recommend the following general guidelines:
- File size less than 50MB
- Format: .obj, .gltf, .stl
- Maximum of 150,000 polygons per model
- Less than 70 different materials
When adding a 3D object to UmakeVR, make sure to select the entire folder containing all the elements of the object, not just a single file.
