Creating Users

As a School Admin, you can create a single user on the User Management page.  You can also import multiple users. 
  1. Click User Management to the left.
  2. Select Add User at the top right.
  3. Choose Create User from the dropdown menu.

  4. Fill out the details to create an individual user.  
    1. An email address is required for a teacher, and they will have to accept an invitation sent via email to activate their account.
    2. An email address is optional for a student.  If the email address is left blank, the student will be created without having to accept an email invitation.

  5. Click Choose Content.
  6. Assign All Courses and All Subjects, then click Add Enrollment.

  7. Once the user is created, provide them their username and password to log in at app.umety.com and/or username and PIN to log in to VR.
Tip:  If your students will be logging in to VR headsets, we recommend making their usernames short and simple as they will have to type them in using an on-screen keyboard.
