Device Names

Device Names

Each VR headset is given a randomly generated robot name at the time of registration.  These names identify the headsets in a device-based VR Session.  The Umety School Admin can change the device names at any time from the admin portal.

Log in to your Umety School Admin account at app.umety.com, then choose the Device Information tab on the left.

Click the three-dot action menu to the right of a device and choose Edit to change the name.  You can use the Generate button to create a new random robot name, or you can enter any name you'd like.
