Edit Hotspots & Starting View in UmakeVR

Edit Hotspots & Starting View in UmakeVR

Use hotspots to jump from one scene to another. Hotspots will be automatically created when you import 360º content scenes. To edit the hotspots, turn Editor Mode on, go to the iMenu, and select the Hotspot tab at the top. Activate or remove hotspots from each location by clicking the circle icon in the edit bar. White means the hotspot is active. Transparent means it is off.

Use the eye icon to make the hotspot circle always visible, visible only when the cursor is near, or invisible.

Create a guided tour by using the square icon. Activating this feature will make the hotspot to that scene a different color, guiding viewers through the tour by allowing them to flow directly to the next location or scene.

Set the start view from the menu, or the target view from other locations. This will be the direction you are facing when you enter the 360º scene. For the target view, use Auto for a suggested starting point, or select Manual to reposition the target view yourself.

To reposition any of the hotspots or starting views, simply click, hold, and drag your mouse to move them.
