Playlists

Playlists

You can organize the content within a class into Playlists, making it easy to arrange your content for a particular lesson.  Playlists are always visible to you as a teacher, and you can choose which playlists to make visible to your students when they log in to their classes, whether in a browser or in a VR headset.

Setting up Playlists

Once you have added content to a class, you will see a Playlists menu on the left.

There is a default "All Content" playlist which always contains every content item in the class.

You can create a new playlist by clicking the Manage Playlists button below the list, then the + New Playlist button at the top right.

Once you have created a playlist, you can change the order, set the visibility for students, and edit or delete your playlists.

When you have finished creating or editing your playlists, you can use the breadcrumbs or click on the Content tab to go back.

Managing Content in Your Playlists

To assign content to a playlist, click the thumbnail to select one or more content items, or the box at the top of the list to select all visible content items, and then click on the list icon at the top.

Check the box next to a playlist to add all selected content items to the playlist.  Uncheck a box to remove that content item from the selected playlist.  A dash in a box indicates that the content has already been added to some, but not all, of the selected playlists.

Click Apply to save the changes.  The changes will be available to students in the class immediately.
