Resetting the UmetyVR Headset

If you need to remove all Umety content licenses from your VR headset, you can reset the App.  This will release the device from the school account and delete any user data stored on the headset.  

  1. Make sure your headset is connected to the internet.
  2. Select Settings in the Footer Menu of the Umety Classroom App, then scroll down to click on Admin.
  3. Enter your school's 9-digit Account ID and 4-digit PIN and click Submit.

  4. Scroll down and click Reset device.
  5. Confirm that you wish to continue by clicking Yes, reset the device.
  6. All user data and licenses are deleted and you will be returned to the original setup process.
