Network Connectivity Requirements

The Umety Solution is designed to work with minimal demands on a school's network, but some connectivity is required for certain activities.  To ensure full functionality, it may be necessary to whitelist the following services in your organization's firewall or content filtering solution.  
  1. Teacher, student and admin access to the browser-based online platform

  1. VR device activation, general use, and score reporting

  1. VR Sessions and monitoring
  1. socket.umety.com port 3000
  2. monitor.umety.com port 3000
  1. Content delivery and software updates

  3. cdn-360vid.umety.com port 443 (https)

Emails containing account activation information and password reset requests will come from notifications@umety.com, so it is recommended to whitelist this email address, or any email from umety.com as well.
