Updating the Umety Classroom App
The Umety app is updated occasionally to provide new features and improvements. Most updates typically only take a few clicks and minute or two to install and can be easily done by a student.
Major updates may require additional steps or introduce significant changes. These will be announced before the update becomes available to install.
When an update is available and the VR device is connected to the internet, you should receive a prompt to update the app when it first launches, after clicking Proceed on the guidelines screen.
After clicking Install Update, the new app will be downloaded, the screen will go black for a few moments, and then the app will relaunch. Follow any prompts and then continue using the new version.
